The inspiration behind our foundation
The Obour Golden Heart Memorial Foundation was founded in memory of my father. Growing up, our home was always filled with children he cared for, family and friends alike. He never complained and treated each child as his own, always saying no child should go to bed without food. This enduring belief and the tears I shed for underprivileged children inspired me to start this foundation.
Our vision for every child
We envision a Ghana where every child is healthy, nourished, protected, and empowered to reach their full potential, supported by a nation of golden hearts. We strive to create a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive and succeed, making a profound difference in their lives.
Our core beliefs and principles
Obour Golden Heart Memorial Foundation is a child-focused humanitarian organisation dedicated to supporting vulnerable and underserved children across Ghana. Born from deep compassion for children living in poverty, malnutrition, and neglect, our foundation works to restore hope where it is fading.
We provide nutritional support, essential care, education assistance, and community-based interventions that uplift children and give them the chance they deserve.
